STRONG, CARL L. Lansing Age 90, passed away March 9, 1991.
He was born in Traverse City in 1900 and has lived in Lansing since 1988. He retired from MSU as a Professor of Insurance in the Continuing Education Department.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael B. Powelson.
Surviving are his wife, Violet B. Strong; daughter, Lorraine (Erwin) Powelson; 2 grandsons, Kenneth E. (Martha) Powelson and Karl A. (Nenita) Powelson; 1 granddaughter, Pamela L. (Merlin) Dennis; 2 great granddaughters, Laura Powelson and Nicole Powelson.
Memorial service will be held at Delta Mills Methodist Church, Delta River Drive, Delta Mills on Thursday, March 14 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lyle Heaton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, friends desiring may make contributions to the Veterans or to the charity of choice.
