Delphia E. Adkins, 77 of Medina, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Adkins; parents, Henry Fisher Adkins and Reedith Adkins; children, Mark Adkins and Rachael Adkins; siblings, Ralph Edward Adkins, Chester Adkins, Raymond Adkins, Dorothy Payton Caldwell, Howard Adkins, Garnett Adkins, and Bessie Williamson.
She is survived by her children, Gregory (Kimberly) Adkins of Cuyahoga Falls, Jason Adkins of Medina, and Darren Adkins of Medina; grandchildren, Ashley (Parker) Mumaw, Megan Adkins, Alexander Adkins, Cameron Adkins, and Logan Adkins; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Henry, Maxwell, and August; siblings, Paul (Regina) Adkins, Golden (Wampy) Adkins, Allen (Stephanie) Adkins; brother-in-law, Rockford Adkins; and she was also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 9 at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH.
The family will again receive friends and family from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 12 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, 6670 McClellan St, West Hamlin, WV to be immediately followed by a service at the Funeral Home with Rev. Lenny Romans officiating. Afterwards she will be taken to Peyton Cemetery on 10 Mile Creek Road in Branchland, West Virginia to be laid to rest next to husband Jerry and children Mark and Rachel.
