Mr. Archie Prevette Anderson, of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, October 4, 2003. He was a life long resident of the Oakwoods Community.

Mr. Anderson was born on April 5, 1917 to Iredell Prevette Anderson and Clara James Anderson. He was married September 24, 1937 to Evelyn Jones who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Lyn, his brother, Glenn, and sisters, Vera Stroud, Minnie Anderson, Nina Ellis, and Lola Anderson. Leaving to cherish his memory is daughter, Diana A. Salmons and husband Glenn of Winston Salem; Grandson, John Salmons of Winston Salem; Granddaughter, Laura Salmons and husband, Robert Giles of Salt Lake City, Utah and great grandchildren, Evelyn and Ian Giles of Salt Lake.
Mr. Anderson worked for Duke Power until his retirement. He was a member and a deacon at Oakwoods Baptist Church, active in many areas until his health declined. He was a good neighbor and always willing to assist family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
