R.B. was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a Schriner. He was a member of South Side Baptist Church. R.B. never met a stranger. He loved his family, church family, and his many nieces and nephews. He loved his step-children as his own. You could hear him coming before you could see him. He was the owner of Casto's Lawnmower and Saw Shop, as well as a retired locksmith. He and his wife Venetia loved Bluegrass music and had traveled to all 50 states.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Dorothy, Essie, and Beady, and his brothers Wallace and J.W.
He is survived by his wife Venetia Casto, his children Roger Brockington, Gayle Brockington, Shelia Houston and her husband Wayne, and his grandson Zach Houston. Mr. Casto is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00am in the South Side Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 12:00 with Rev. Elwin Ollar officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Sumner Cemetery in Cabot, AR.
