Mattie E. Bright, age 85, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. Mattie was born October 27, 1936.
She is survived by her married daughter, { omitted their names]her son, [ omitted his name] ; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren [ omitted their names]. brother , Jack Eagan. She is also survived by several relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Lillie Mai (Newman) Eagan; her husband, Donald Wayne Bright.

She was talented at many things, including making her own jewelry and sewing. She also loved to garden and enjoyed being outdoors enjoying the creation. Among her favorite things to do were watching the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.

In addition, Mattie was a business owner who owned her own Hair Salon helping others.

A visitation for Mattie will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eastland Funeral Home, 904 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37206. A celebration of life service will occur Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln., Nashville, TN 37221 with interment to follow.
