The Simple Man
By: John Taylor

Today I am here to tell you a story of a quiet, simple man.
This was a man of honor and dignity. But don't think he was always a quiet man. He spoke out when the time was appropriate as well as for times he should have just been silent.

This was a kind loving man with a heart of a king. He went out of his way to help others and never asked for anything in return. He loved his family and built a world of friends and built a world of friends everywhere he went.

This man stood as a model for many to come. Never stepping down, he faced even the strongest fights and always acted with extreme kindness. He was not a grizzly of a man, but he was a giant in his own way.

Husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. Today we celebrate the graduation day of our Simple Man. Today this man has been promoted to serve the Lord with his new wings of gold. So when you look up to the sky and you see a golden trail, just know that a simple man is watching over you.

I've told you of this simple man, let it be known through all the world who this man was and still is today. Husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. Benny Jones, my loving Uncle, Uncle B.B.

Enjoy your well deserved golden Wings
