Obituary:
Robert (Bob) Ivan Duffee, 76, of Owatonna, died at home Thursday, February 3, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, on his 54th wedding anniversary.
Bob was born on July 30, 1945 at Barron County Hospital to Edward and Viola Duffee. Bob grew up in Chetek, WI. The family moved to Indiana while Bob was in middle school and he graduated from New Palestine High School in 1963.
Bob married xxxxx Smith on February 3, 1968 at Bethany Christian Church in Anderson, Indiana. He served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany, during the Vietnam era. After his Honorable Discharge, He completed his degree at the Purdue University College of Pharmacy in 1974. He established his family in Union City, Indiana, residing there over 20 years. He and xxxxx then moved to Minnesota where he worked for many years, eventually retiring.
Bob loved swimming and fishing and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed having pets and loved discovering new experiences.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Debra Alto (2019).
A private graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling in St. Paul, MN later this Spring.
