Richard Pascal Aielli passed on October 28, 2007, after a hurried, but fierce battle with brain cancer. He was 57. Richard passed peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Austin.
He is survived by his wife Kay, daughter Amber, brothers John, and Michael, and sister Cindy.
He was an influential educator in the Austin community. Once named Teacher of the Year, and a National Board Educator, he has touched the souls of many, and changed the lives of thousands.
