She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom Draus; daughter, Melissa "Missy" Draus; and sister, Mary Ann Moen.
Bowling has always had a special place in Nancy's heart and where she made many lifelong friendships. She graduated from George Washington High School in Chicago, class of 1970. On December 7, 1974 she married Tom Draus who precedes her. Nancy was known for her witty sense of humor and ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed trying her luck with scratch-off lottery tickets.
Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304. Burial will follow at St. John - St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
