Jeana M. Paulson, 60, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at a local hospital, surrounded by her family.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jeana Mary Paulson was born Thursday, Feb. 1, 1962, to Leo and MaryAnn (Dicus) Miller in Sioux City. She married her "Beloved" Steve Paulson on Oct. 21, 1989. Jeana was an avid sports fan and her favorite teams were the Iowa Hawkeyes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Seattle Seahawks.
She loved music, going to concerts, Saturday In The Park (SITP), and she was a member of the Sioux City Music Club. She was also a huge Harry Potter fan. She love Indy 500 and the Kentucky Derby. Her last job was in IT at Life Serve.
Jeana is survived by her mother MaryAnn Miller; sisters LeAnn (Matt Kinney) Miller-Kinney, Janet Miller, Barbara (Chuck) Pastori, and Kathie (John) James; brother Perry (Kathy) Miller; stepdaughters Suzanne Johme and Lisa Dykman; stepsons Steve Paulson Jr, John Paulson, and Freeman Paulson; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several very special nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Jeana is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Paulson; father, Leo Miller; brother Michael Miller; sister Suzanne Kerstner; nephew Jason Kinney; great-nephew Elijah Kinney; and grandparents Mary and Bill Dicus, and Arthur and Stella Miller.
