Jerilyn Jan Hadley, 80, of Edmond, Oklahoma entered heavens gates on February 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Jan, was born January 14, 1942 to Mildred and Elden Dumas at her grandparent's farm just south of Norman, Oklahoma.

In addition to raising her five children, Jan also cared for many neighborhood kids. Once her children were of age, Jan was employed in the banking industry before retiring from her son's electric company, Metro Tech Electrical Contractors.

Family was everything to Jan. She loved attending her children's and grandchildren's school activities and sporting events, having rarely missed any. She loved playing games and cards with family and friends. Jan was a fantastic cook and enjoyed teaching her family her secrets. At family gatherings, she prepared most of the dishes, cooking more than needed so there would always be leftovers.

Jan will be remembered as the matriarch, full of generous care and love. She was always ready with a helping hand and touched many with her heart of gold.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Shannon and Elden Dumas; sister Beverly Boehler; grandchildren, Stacy and Russell Hadley; daughter-in-law Sherry Williams Hadley and former husband C. R. "Buddy" Hadley.
