Our sweet, beloved mother Dora passed away peacefully on the 10th of February 2022. She lived 91 eventful and exciting years. She missed her sweetheart dearly and longed to return to his arms once again.

She was the 2nd daughter born to Reuben Ernest Wolfe and Nellie Elizabeth Monroe. She was born in Paonia, Colorado on September 12, 1930. Due to her own mothers ill health she helped to raise and care for her siblings, Betty Anne, Herman Ernest, William Addison, Nelda Verle and Geraldine Faye. All family members have preceded her in death.

While attending an April's Fool's Dance she met the love of her life. One dance ending in a kiss was all it took. They were married 2 months later in her Parents living room on June 2, 1946.

She later took the missionary lessons and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were sealed in the Temple in February of 1951. They were the parents of 7 children James (Sheril), Dorrine (Steve), David (Jeannette), Daniel (Chris), Nancy, Sandra (John), and Jon (Shanna).

Dora had a heart as big as the sky. She helped love and nurture many nieces and nephews. She welcomed anyone into our home who needed a place to stay, food to eat, or extra loving and hugs. Her doors and heart were always open.

She had many different callings and responsibilities in her life. Along with being a wife and mother she was a PTA president, Relief Society President, Primary President and a Young Women's President. She love researching her family history. She held many ward and Stake callings because of this interest. She was involved in the extraction program and learned Old German and Latin to assist her with many projects. Her and her sweetheart served for 13 years in the Jordan River Temple.

Dora was a great seamstress. She learned to sew upholstery for her husband in his upholstery business. She also enjoyed making clothes for her children and others. She learned how to sew from her grandmother and mother. They insisted that she learnded to sew by hand before they would teach her on the sewing machine. Through her love for sewing she gifted many quilts and baby blankets throughout her life. She also liked to sew family givts for Christmas and special occasions. Later in life she owned a fabric store for 20 years with her good friend Betty Easton. They loved helping people learn to sew and picking out fabrics.

She is survived by all of her children, their spouses, 31 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren and 13 great, great, grandchildren. She also has several more on the way. Plus many extended family members and friends. She will especially miss all of her friends in the West Jordan 21st ward where she lived for 36 years.

We would like to extend a special THANK YOU to her daughter Nancy Middleton, Brian Middleton and Heather Christensen who had the pleasure and blessing of living with her in her final years. A special thank you to Utah Home Health and Hospice for their love and tender care as she transitioned from this life to the next. We would also like to than Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home for their help and care during this time.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) with a viewing prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
