Judy lived in Indianapolis all of her life, largely as a homemaker, but she did work part-time for 25-years at St. Jude Catholic school cafeteria. She was a caring, compassionate, fun-loving person who loved her family more than anything and relished opportunities to help others. Judy enjoyed shopping, reading magazines, playing cards (both Euchre with the couples and Canasta with the ladies) and making a pan of brownies or a cheese ball for just about any occasion.
Children, Sherryl Hammond, Guy Hammond, Rick (Susan) Hammond, Ken (Michelle) Hammond, and Chris (Kelly) Hammond; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers: Art, Mike, Ron, John, and Gale.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Larry; her only sister, Mary Brinkman; and a younger brother, Thomas O'Connor.
