Joseph W. Hrudka, age 87 of Manitowoc passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.

Joe was born on January 7, 1935 in Manitowoc, son of the late Adolph and Kathleen (Reno) Hrudka. He grew up in Manitowoc and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1953. On February 3, 1954 Joe joined the United States Air Force and was Honorably Discharged on October 16, 1957. On April 7, 1956 he married the former Eunice A. Hoeffner in Manitowoc. Joe worked as a customer service representative for various local companies retiring from Invincible Metal Furniture Company.

Joe was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Redeemer's Mens Club, the Redeemer Lutheran Choir, Manitowoc Golden Kiwanis, Clipper City Chordsmen and a life member of the AmVets Post #99 of Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife: Eunice Hrudka, Manitowoc; his three children: Jodene (Michael) Wartman, Prior Lake, MN, Daniel (Diane) Hrudka, Manitowoc, Michael (Heidi) Hrudka, Maple Grove, MN; eight grandchildren: Jesse (Jason) Anschutz, Ben (Rachel) Wartman, Erika (Joe) Popp, Holly (Nic) Franz, Wyatt (Sarah) Hrudka, Bryce Hrudka and his significant other: Danessa Buck, Jeremy Hrudka and his partner: Brad Ringler, Austin (Sammi) Hrudka; nine great-grandchildren: Jaxton, Asher, Gavin, Brynn, Breckin, Tenley, Lawson, Grayson, Graham, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Adolph and Kathleen Hrudka; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Walter and Erna Hoeffner; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Lester and Darlene Hoeffner.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 28, 2022 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1712 Menasha Avenue, Manitowoc. The Rev. Zachary DeArmond will officiate with burial of his cremated remains to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Graveside Military Honors will be accorded by the AmVets Post #99. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church or Redeemer Pre-School.
