Jeanette was born on September 19, 1920, a triplet with identical brothers, James and John, and a daughter of the late Quirin and Mary Kornely. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Mishicot High School in 1939.
On October 3, 1942 Jeanette was united in marriage to Victor Kritske at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mishicot and they became loving partners for life. The couple moved to Sheboygan in 1942 where they lived out their remaining years. Together they enjoyed fishing and their home at White Lake, WI. Victor preceded her in death on July 8, 2007.
Jeanette was employed as a government inspector for the Kohler Company during the Korean Conflict.
Jeanette was homemaker extraordinary with her baking and cooking talents. She was known for her many golden loaves of homemade bread and delicious pies which she donated to the St. Peter Claver bakes sales for many years. She spent many happy hours in her kitchen creating meals of love for her family. She dearly loved her family especially her two granddaughters, Kim and Lisa and her little guy great grandson, Mihkylo.
Jeanette was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a long time member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and the St. Anne Christian Women Society.
Jeanette will be sorrowfully missed by the family that survives, her son, Gerald (Judith) Kritske of Sheboygan; two granddaughters, Lisa L. Kritske (Randy Sandoval) of Wauwatosa and Kim M. Kritske along with her great grandson, Mihkylo Barker. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Jeanette at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Dineen as celebrant and Deacon Michael Burch, parish administrator assisting. Entombment followed in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
