Charles William Berry, 64, 155 Rainbow Court, Elizabethton, died Sunday, April 16, 2006. A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late Hugh D. and Amanda Richardson Berry. Mr. Berry was of the Baptist faith and worked as a farmer and carpenter. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Freddie and Shane Crowe of Elizabethton; three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Ellen Berry, Ricky Berry and Rachel Richardson and Johnny Berry and Brenda Heaton all of Elizabethton; Four grandchildren, Scotter Berry, Ricky Berry, Dillon Berry and Joshua Berry; Two sisters, Novella Stines and Carmie Lowe of Elizabethton; two brothers, Brenton Berry and James Berry of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Stout, Rev. Joe Hensley and Rev. Clate Briggs presiding. Music will be provided by Rev. Jim Stout. Graveside and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Wilson Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Scotter Berry, Ricky Berry, Allen Frost, Shane Crowe, James Berry and Terry Berry. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dylan Berry, Michael Sluss, Wes Grindstaff, John Stines, Daniel Grindstaff, Mike Lowe and Mike Wallace.
