Virginia Young Burton, 90 of Russell, KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Burton was born on June 10, 1931. She is a daughter of the late Kenneth Young and Susie Robinette Young. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Burton; two daughters, Judy Buchanan, Linda Burton; three sons, Scottie Burton, Eddie Dean Burton, Ricky Ray Burton; one brother, Ralph Young; two sisters Dolly Thacker, Myrtle Collins and one son in law Danny Collins.
Virginia is survived by one daughter, Tammy Collins; five sons, Paul Burton, Donald (Traci) Burton, Robert Burton, Anthony (Carol) Burton, Ernest Gerald (Debbie) Burton, Kenny (Rita) Burton; twelve grandchildren, Steve, Richard, Buddy, Amanda, Danny, Brian, Linda, Holly, Stacey, Crystal, Andrew, Nathan; step-grandchild Alexandra Hamilton, twenty-one great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and daughter in law Shirley Hawk.
Funeral services for Mrs. Burton will be held Tuesday February 22, 2022 at 1:00 with Pastor Jeremy Sherrill officiating at the Evans Funeral Home in Raceland. Burial to follow at Caroline Cemetery in Raceland.
Friends may visit on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
