The remains of Mrs. Jesse D. Bright, which were brought from Louisville, Ky., where she recently died, were interred yesterday afternoon at Greenmount Cemetery, the funeral taking place from the residence of Lawrason Riggs, No. 82 Cathedral street. There was a large attendance and numerous floral gifts. The pallbearers were Dr. L. Mackall, James Macubin, A. Upshur, Eugene Levering, C. Powell Grady and Charles T. Crane. The funeral services were by Rev. W. T. Brantley and Rev. Mr. Randolph. Hon. Jesse d. Bright, her husband, died in Baltimore in May 1875, whither he came but a few months before to permanently locate his home. Mr. Bright was for sixteen years a member of the United States Senate from Indiana, and was president of that body, and Vice-President of the United States under the administration of President Pierce.
