Kenneth Fred "Cuz" Albright

Aspermont, Texas -- Kenneth Fred "CUZ" Albright, 68, went to be with his Lord Monday morning, December 31, 2007, at an Abilene hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Aspermont officiated by Rev. Robbie Harris assisted By Rev. Truitt Cockrell with burial to follow in the Aspermont cemetery under the care and direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.

Cuz was born in Knox City, Texas and grew up in King County Texas he married Carolyn Gholson on October 8, 1959. Cuz was very active in the Guthrie and Aspermont communities, he served as President of the Guthrie and Aspermont School Board of Trustees, Cuz was a deputy in Stonewall County, Fire Marshall in Aspermont, worked as a rancher and cattle buyer, also as a bail bondsman, he was a past officer of the Stonewall County Rodeo Association, member of the Stonewall County Livestock Association and owned a trucking company. He always enjoyed visiting with all of his friends at the Haskell and Sweetwater cattle auctions. Cuz also served as a Chairman of the Board of Directors of Buddy's Truevalue Hardware Store in Aspermont, Texas.

Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn of Aspermont; son, James Lee and Wife, Sharon of Aspermont; daughter, Janna Beauchamp and husband, Billy of Aspermont; half sister, Dee Dee Gill of Waxahachie, Texas; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; five great-grandsons; and three step great-grandchildren.
