Peggy Virginia Albright, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away peacefully after 96 years of vibrant life, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She was born on February 8, 1926, in Warren, Pennsylvania to the late Mabel (McIntosh) and Jackson Page.
She attended Norwalk High School and married the love of her life, the late Rolland "Rolly" Albright on August 21, 1943. In their 78 years of marriage, they raised 5 children, and their extended family blossomed again and again over the years. Peggy took pride in being a homemaker. An eternal optimist, she always looked for the good in other people and in every situation. Her compassionate and encouraging nature coupled with a sincere listening ability, opened the door for a lifetime of helping opportunities and teachable moments. All of these qualities made people comfortable around Peggy, and she was very well liked and valued by all generations. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Norwalk for decades. Peggy enjoyed cooking and baking and was a wonderfully dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland "Rolly" Albright in 2021, and son, Eric Albright.
Peggy's family will hold a memorial service on March 14, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Ave., Norwalk with the Pastor officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 –11:00 am before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
