Ms. Polster died Wednesday in a boating accident in the Mississippi River near Kampville. She was riding in the open bow of a bass boat that was pulling a water skier when she fell out, suffering cuts from the boat's propeller. The cause of her death was ruled a head injury.
She was a secretary for Dunn and Bradstreet in St. Louis County and a real estate agent with Coldwell-Banker in St. Charles.
Surviving are her parents, James and Sharon Polster of St. Charles; two sisters, Lori Maffrand of St. Charles and Cindy Polster of St. Peters; and a grandmother, Stella Davis of Gainesville, Fla.
