Agnes E. Canfield passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 24, 2022 with her family at her side. She was 71 years of age.

Agnes was born and raised in Newark before moving to Mine Hill in 1962 where she lived most of her life.

Mrs. Canfield was a billing clerk at Hackettstown Medical Center for 12 years, retiring in 1998.

Agnes liked to spend time with family and friends and dote on her three grandchildren.

She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church, Wharton.

Predeceased by her parents, Michael Smith and Mary McAteer as well as her husband, Charles F., Sr. in 2012 (FAG#189894221).

Survived by her beloved children:

Charles F., Jr and wife Cara (Restaino).

Sean P. and wife Vanessa (Ricciardelli).

Cherished Grandchildren:

Natalia, Gerard & Patrick.

Loving Sibling, Michael Smith.

Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held 4-8pm on Monday, February 28, 2021 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

A funeral mass will be held 11am on March 1 at St. Mary's Church, Wharton.

Interment will be private.
