It is with sadness that the family of Franklin "Frank" Sark announce his death at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the age of 63. Born in Fredericton, NB, on April 9, 1955, he was the son of the late Charlie and Annabelle (Sacobie) Sark.
Frank leaves behind his son, Ian Sark (Tim) of Toronto, ON; brothers, Gerald Sark (Valerie) and James Sark, both of Oromocto, NB; sisters, Diane Peter-Paul of Red Bank, NB, and Cynthia Polchies (Emmanuel) of Oromocto, NB; 2 godchildren ; and several nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. In addition to his parents Frank was predeceased by his brother, Charlie Sark, and sisters, Evelina Presnail and Joyce Ward.
Frank's family will remember him as a joker and a storyteller. He was well liked by everyone and loved to visit and have tea with friends and family. He was generous and kind hearted. Frank did not have a lot but would give the shirt off his back if he was asked. He was a light in their lives and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and again Sunday, December 2, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11 am with Fr. Charles Udeh as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, donations in Frank's memory can be made to Diabetes Canada.
