Mrs. Irma Jordan Funeral July 2
Funeral services for Mrs. Irma Faye Jordan, 87, were held Sunday, July 2, at 2:00 p.m. in the Dean Funeral Home. Pastor Dean Donner officiated.
Mrs. Jordan died Thursday, June 29, in St. Joseph's hospital, Concordia.
She was born near Farlinville, Kans., in Linn county, Feb. 2, 1885. She moved to Cloud county with her family and lived most of her life in the Glasco community.
She was married to Frank M. Jordan Dec. 16, 1903, who preceded her in death in 1952.
Also preceding her on death were her parents, Clint and Minnie Pitts; a sister, Ethel Skeels, and a brother, Eura Pitts.
Surviving are her two children, a daughter, Selma Christensen, Hebron, Nebr., and her husband, Merrill; a son, Nile C. Jordan, Glasco, Kans., and his wife, Mildred; a brother, Otto Pitts, Denver, Colo.; a nephew, D.K. Steele, Concordia, Kans.; three grandchildren Jordan Christensen, Victorville, Calif., Gary Christensen, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. James Brown (Jean Christiansen), Dallas, Tex.; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many loving neighbors and friends.
Burial was in the Glasco cemetery.
