Richard M. Skrzycke, at 57, of 1313 22nd St., Two Rivers, died Monday morning, July 19, 1999, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Rev. Larry Seidl officiated at the Memorial Mass which was held Wednesday, July 21, 1999, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
Richard was born November 16, 1941, in Two Rivers, son of the late Sylvester J. and Emily A. Fronk Skrzycke. He graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1959. On May 29, 1965, he married the former Judith A. Lodl in Two Rivers. He earned a tool and die design degree from the Acme School of Engineering, Manitowoc, where he was also an instructor. Richard was employed at Paragon Electric for 25 years as a manufacturing engineer. He was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard, American Legion, Two Rivers, and the American Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Richard was a former Boy Scout troop leader at the Two Rivers Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Skrzycke, Two Rivers; two sons, Dean P. Skrzycke, Latham, N.Y., Ted R. Skrzycke, and his fiancee, Tracey Albright, Ann Arbor, Mich.; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert S. and Suzanne Skrzycke, Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Sharon Stanul, Sheboygan; one nephew and two nieces, Mark (Kris) Ertman, Acitero, Ariz., Sheri Ertman and her fiancé, David Zahorik, Mishicot, Jill (Paul) Staab, Green Bay; two great-nieces and one great-nephew, Jessica Klosterman, Jenna Ertman, Alexander Staab; other relatives and friends also survive.
