Pam lived almost her entire life in Norman, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong, faithful member of the Church of Christ. The most important things to her were God, her grandkids, her children, and her dogs (and in that order). She loved anything to do with Lawson, working in the yard, summertime, thunderstorms, and crafting. She also loved designing garden landscapes, touring new houses, and making house designs even if she had no plans to move. In her youth, she loved jet skiing and tennis. She still was an avid tennis fan and enjoyed watching tournaments on television.
She was the most selfless, devoted, supportive, loyal, and loving mother and grandmother. She would do absolutely anything for her children or grandchildren. The lessons she taught her children and Lawson, especially on faith and Jesus, have shaped their lives and will continue to live on as they are passed down.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter Aubrey Flickinger; grandson Luke Flickinger; and grandson Landon Flickinger.
She is survived by her "best friend ever" and grandson, Lawson Flickinger of Edmond; husband Paul Ackerman of Edmond; daughter Abbie Flickinger and husband, Brad of Edmond; son Adam Ackerman and fiancée, Kenna Broomfield of Norman; brother James Heath of Oklahoma City as well as many other family members and friends she deeply treasured.
Private services per her request were already held.
