Beloved wife of Henry

Elizabeth Magdalina (Schmitt)Greyerbiehl, 80, died Sat. Jan 12,1952 in Pleasant Home Convalescent Home, Cass City, Michigan.

She died from a fractured skull suffered from a fall.
Mrs Greyerbiehl was born April 29, 1871 in Canada to George and Margaret(Friedrich)Schmitt.

Elizabeth moved to Huron county when she was seven years of age.

Elizabeth married Henry Greyerbiehl on May 1, 1888 in Paris Township, Huron County, Michigan.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Greyerbiehl, three daughters and four sons;

four sons;

Alexander Philip Greyerbiehl and his wife, Kathryn E.(Costello),

Charles S. Greyerbiehl and his wife, Margaret G.(Scott), Bad Axe;

Wilfred William Greyerbiehl and his wife, Anna Elizabeth(Gorang), Flint

Harry Jacob Greyerbiehl and his wife, Maude L.(Armstead), Buly;

three daughters;

Mary F.(Greyerbiehl)and her husband, Charles LaMar, Flint,

Otillia M.(Greyerbiehl)and her husband, Dennis Ducharme, Bad Axe

Olive Isabelle(Greyerbiehl) and her husband, Earl Rapson, Alberta Canada;

26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren,

Also survived by one half-sister, Orilla Catherine and her husband, Richard Lawrence Williams, Flint and one half brother, Henry Alfred Schmitt and his wife, Regina Agnes(Helewski), Ubly.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, George Schmitt (1843-1912) and Margaret (Friedrich) (1845-1886) and a son, George John Greyerbiehl (1889-1932)
and one brother, George Schmitt (1876-1939)
She was also preceded in death by two half-brothers, Stephen J. Schmitt (1895-1935) and
Clyde Francis Schmitt (1898-1913)
All of the half brothers and sister listed above were born to her father, George Schmitt (1843-1912) and Mary(Zimmer) (1961-1929)
Status of her other sister and brother unknow, sister; Mary A(Schmitt) b. 1868 who married William H Schwergert and brother Philip Schmitt b.1874 who married Magdalen

Mrs Greyerbiehl was a member of the Sacred Heart Altar society in Bad Axe.

Her remains are at the MacAlpine funeral home where Rosary devotions will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tues Jan 15,1952 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bad Axe.

Father Charles A Roark will officiate.

Burial will be in Colfax cemetery.
