Phyllis E. McClanahan, 78, of Davenport died Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Trinity Pathway Hospice. As per her wishes, private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Trinity Pathway Hospice.
She was born August 21, 1928, in Davenport. She was united in marriage to Calvin McClanahan on June 27, 1948, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1996.
She was a homemaker.
Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Those left to honor her memory include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sue McClanahan, Bettendorf and Pat McClanahan, Scurry, Texas; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bergthold, Davenport; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Carol Bargmann, Minn.; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Robnett, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, and son, Mike.
