"The Collins family owned the land in Kentucky (I believe Barren, KY) where the caves were located in which Floyd Collins was trapped and died. It is possible that both Francis Marion Collins as well as his first wife, Polly Monroe, were buried on that property, but this is not known for sure. A Francis M. Collins, born 1833, was buried at Round Hill Cemetery, Greensville County, VA in May 1898, but it is unknown whether this was the same Francis Marion Collins--FindAGrave #214997134."
