Daughter of Linwood and Lonie (Mozell) Jennings.
She was united in marriage to Ralph Mecklin Mansfield on December 23, 1945 at Leland, Mississippi.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Pendleton Floor Covering from 1957 to 1972. She then went to work as a Sales Associate with Pendleton Realty, having been the first woman agent in Pendleton, Oregon.

Among her special interests were bowling, fishing, traveling and card playing, especially pinochle.
