Dr. Rachel Elizabeth Thomasson, age 27, of Kingsport formerly of Sweetwater. Passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. Rachel was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater. A graduate of Sweetwater High School graduating class of 2013 with honors. A graduate of East Tennessee State University, and the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy. Preceded in death by her loving dad: Mark Thomasson, grandparents: Mort and Helen Thomasson, and James Seymour. Survivors include her loving mother: Amy Thomasson, of Sweetwater, sisters and brothers-in-law: Jessica and Aaron Price, of Cleveland, Katie and Cory Lawson, of Knoxville, grandmother: Carolyn Seymour, of Sweetwater, nephew: Palmer Lawson, of Knoxville, uncle: Mitchell Seymour, of Sweetwater, uncle and aunt: Mike and Lisa Thomasson, of Cleveland, cousin: Abby and Carter Music, 2nd. Cousin: Graham Music, Boyfriend: Will Singleton, of Knoxville. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow in Kyker's Chapel with Dr. Frank Crawford officiating.
