Mr. Earl H. Hanselman, 77, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 in Evangelical Home.
He was born June 21, 1930 in Palms to the late Armean and Louise Hanselman. He married Emma Riedel on August 27, 1949 in Forestville.

Mr. Hanselman was an auto mechanic assembler with General Motors for 22 years, a mechanic for Moore Chevrolet for 15 years, and service manager at Cawood Auto for ten years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was involved in tractor pulling for 12 years, and enjoyed playing cards and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Emma; a daughter, Linda (Mike) Gossman of Port Huron; three sons, Ricky (Margaret) Hanselman of Port Huron, Dennis (Judy) Hanselman of Port Sanilac, and Lloyd (Becky) Hanselman of Fort Gratiot; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth (Justin) Glyshaw, Shad (Kate) Hanselman, Shawn (Michelle) Hanselman, Megan Hanselman, Earl A. Hanselman, and Michael and Matthew Gossman; three great-grandchildren, Reegan and Walker Glyshaw, and April Hanselman; a brother, LaVerne (Regina) Hanselman of Ruth; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina L. Hanselman; and a brother, Melvin Hanselman.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 in St. Paul Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Gordon Peterson will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shad, Shawn and Earl Hanselman, Michael and Matthew Gossman, and Justin Glyshaw.
