TRINITY -- Funeral for Edwin Marie Terry "Tootsie" Hale, 76, of Hillsboro will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Pullen officiating.
Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hale died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at her home. She was born July 28, 1924, in Lawrence County. She was a homemaker and a member of Chalybeate Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Anita Hale Whisenant of Trinity; two sisters, Ida Kathleen Towler of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Donna Schooler of Danville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Parker, Douglas Hale, Cleveland Hale, Bobby Hale, Ron Claborn and Ronnie Alexander.
