Bertram Reynold Anderson, 83, of Jamestown passed away Thursday (March 17, 2022) in Buffalo General Hospital.

He was born May 25, 1938, in Jamestown, the son of the late George Bertram and Ruby May Hollenbeck Anderson.

Bertram attended Bemus Point High School and was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central High School. He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy Submarine Service. Prior to retirement he had owned and operated Anderson Sales Group.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, woodworking and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving is his devoted wife Arlene Harrington Anderson whom he married December 6, 1958, and they were married for 63 years; two daughters: Rhonda (Greg) Moller of Jamestown, Lori Anderson of Port St. Lucie, FL; a son Brett (Kim) Anderson of Port St. Lucie, FL; seven grandchildren: Brianna (Nathan) Greene, Jessica (John) Jones, Garrett (Brooke) Moller, Ashley Sellers, Amanda Sellers, Brooke (Brett) Smithley, Kira (Kallen) Dees and nine great grandchildren: Raelynne, Mallory, Mikayla, Alexa, Ascher, Luna, Lincoln, Oakland, Beau.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Marcus and Thomas Anderson.

In honor of Bertram please feel free to wear nautical or Hawaiian apparel to the funeral.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Levant Wesleyan Church. Rev. Al Myers pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Levant Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
