Betty Lou (Gowan) Davis, 68, of Pacolet, SC, died Monday, December 17, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born October 13, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Lenora (Douglas) Gowan.

A retired purchasing agent for Kohler Company, she was a member of Friends of Faith Baptist Church in Pacolet.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Davis; a daughter, Shelley Griffin and her husband Hal of Pacolet; a grandson, Brandon Griffin of Pacolet; a brother, Clifford Gowan of Spartanburg; a sister, Ann Fortenberry of Spartanburg; and very special nieces, Vickie Brock, Kim Lawter, and Mendy Henderson.

She was predeceased by a sister, Frances Watts.

Cryptside services were held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum conducted by the Charlie D. Wilborn.

Friends could view Mrs. Davis after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Friends of Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 216, Pacolet, SC 29372.
