GEORGIA L. MYERS
age 86 of Lake Station passed away Monday December 31, 2007. She was a Lake Station resident since 1958 and was formerly of Gary. She was a longtime member of the Jubilee Worship Center.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Connie (Henry) Swider of Lake Station, Nancy Spiegla of Porter, 1 daughter-in-law, Shirley Faulkner of Valparaiso, 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Christopher Swider, Joseph and Stephen Spiegla, Rebecca Pezan, Nelson, Michael, and Berry Myers, 12 great-grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Myers, 1 son, Billy R. Myers, 1 daughter, Janice Newton, 1 brother, H.L. Hickey, 2 sisters, Rebecca McMann, Rachel Davis, and 1 son-in-law, Joseph Spiegla.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are preferred to the family.
Funeral services are Friday January 4, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station with Rev. Dale Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation is Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, Lake Station.
