Harold V. Bailey, 79, of Natrona Heights, Pa., formerly of Rising Sun, died Monday, July 21, 2003, in Pennsylvania.
He was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Florence, the son of Raymond and Mable Bailey. He resided in Pennsylvania for the past 28 years. He was a member of the Nazarene Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Sallie Bailey; one son, Gerald Wayne Bailey of Aurora; two stepdaughters, Marianne Helgert of Natrona Heights and Bonnie Biedrycki of Tarantum, Pa.; four sisters, Emma Dick of Franklin, Ohio, Ann Peters of Rising Sun, Marguerite Winter of Lawrenceburg and Barbara Byram of Rising Sun; and two brothers, Howard Bailey of Madison and John Bailey of Dillsboro.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. EDT Thursday at the Humphrey-Taylor-Detmer Funeral Home in Rising Sun, with burial in Cedar Hedge Cemetery in Rising Sun.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the funeral home.
