Andrew J. Smrek, age 27, husband of Tanner Bilyeu, of Spring City, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born on December 29, 1994 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew V. Smrek, Jr. and the late Amy (Engle) Grady Zombro, wife of Jeffrey Zombro of Lebanon, PA.

Andrew was known by all as " AJ ". AJ was a gifted painter, a trade and skill that he was taught and inspired to do by his father. He and his father also loved fishing together, something AJ continued to do after his father's passing. He enjoyed singing and dancing with Tanner, as well as taking hikes with her. He grew up camping and spending time around bonfires, and he continued that tradition with his own children. Watching them grow brought him the greatest joy, and AJ could often be found coloring with the kids or reading them a book. He enjoyed skateboarding, playing baseball, cheerleading, and writing poetry. AJ was always being silly and trying to make others laugh.

In addition to Tanner, AJ is survived by his children, Roza Bilyeu, Sparrow Dry, Markus Smrek, and one child on the way; maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Walters; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Smrek, wife of the late Andrew V. Smrek Sr.; a Great-Aunt, Helen Martin; his siblings, Blaine Mowrer, husband of Vanessa Elliott of Pottstown, PA, Ashley (Mowrer), wife of Mike Beto of Douglassville, PA, Jaimie (Smrek), wife of Michael Bari of Pottstown, PA, Megan A. Grady, spouse of Matt Winters of Pottstown, PA, Cierra Irizarry of Lebanon, PA, and Angela Bearoff of Douglassville, PA; many nieces and nephews; and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a step-father, Mark Grady.
