David Lee Hutchison, age 78, died peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. David Lee was born on February 7th, 1944 in Eucha, OK to Jess Hutchison and Bonnie (Rogers) Hutchison.
As a young man, Dave enjoyed playing sports as a Jay Bulldog, running around with his three friends Robert Jordan, Gary Brown, and John Kingfisher who were all known as "The 4 Musketeers" and gigging frogs on pond banks where he garnered the nickname "Frog". Dave was a great dancer and enjoyed spending time at Shadow Lake honing his craft.
Dave attended Jay Public Schools before joining the United States Air Force where he then served for 4 years and met his first wife Judy Hinsberger. They had two sons. Then Dave was a police officer for the city of Lacrosse, WI where he met his second wife Sue Rogowski. Dave and Sue made the decision to move back to Jay where he joined his father "Bus" and grew what became Dave Hutchison Plumbing. Sue and Dave had several adventures traveling and hosted many great parties for friends and family at their home. After Sue's passing, Dave reconnected with his favorite high school dancing partner Judy (Pendergraft) Larmon, and they married shortly thereafter. Dave and Judy enjoyed the outdoors and spent many weekends camping by the lake.
Hunting and fishing were a great passion of Dave's, he enjoyed fishing for crappie on Lake Eucha and hunting with best friends Barney Barnes and Harold Spencer. Dave was always down to have a good time and was the life of the party. Whether he was drinking by the pool or playing pitch in the Deer Shack, he never stopped smiling and laughing.
David is preceded in death by his parents Jess and Bonnie Hutchison; sisters Glenda Forsee and Laverne Miller; and his two wives Sue Hutchison and Judy Hutchison.
