Mrs. William G. Ahearn, 90, of 1515-19th St., Two Rivers, a member of
a pioneer Two Rivers family, died early Saturday morning at Two Rivers
Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Deja and Martin Funeral
Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev.
Robert Rhymer officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two
Rivers.
Mrs. Ahearn, nee Augusta Simonis, was born April 27, 1883, at Two Rivers,
daughter of the late J.N. and Catherine Petri Simonis. She was married
June 10, 1910, at Two Rivers, to William G. Ahearn. He preceded her in
death April 29, 1954. She was a charter member of Catholic Women's Club,
Ladies of St. Luke and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Kathryn of Two Rivers, and Mrs. James
(Mary Jeanne) Diamond of Chicago; four sons, George, William and John of
Two Rivers, and Francis Ahearn of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Mrs. Frank
Becker and Mrs. Peter Karl of Two Rivers; 22 grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where
memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m.

Wm Ahearn Jr. and Augusta Simonis were married Wednesday at St. Luke's Church,
Rev. Father Hugo tied the nuptial knot. The wedding was celebrated at the home
of the bride's parents.
