Poignant scenes were witnessed at Boston on Monday afternoon when the interment took place of Brenda Dowlman, the twelve-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dowlman of Hope Gardens, Boston, who lost her life in an air raid at Skegness. Brenda was a student at Boston High School for Girls and before that was at the Park School, Boston. She was also a scholar at the Centenary Methodist Sunday School.
Prior to the interment at the Boston cemetery, a service was held at the Centenary Methodist Church, girls of Boston High School and of the Sunday school forming a bodyguard.
