Silva, Dianne C. (Jencks), 55, went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2016. She was the loving wife and friend of 22 years to Ronald Silva of West Warwick. She was born in Warwick, RI to Charles and Rita (Kennedy) Jencks Jr of Lakeland, FL.
Dianne and Ron had 25 wonderful years together. She was compassionate and loving to no end with him. Both looked forward to their annual cruise in May to Bermuda where they made many memories together. Dianne was a licensed CNA at West View Health Care Center for over eight years. She had a tender touch and truly enjoyed caring for the patients.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by one son: Stephen Haskins; two grandchildren: Justin Silva and William Haskins; a step son: Gregory Silva; seven siblings: Patricia Howard, Debra Fraime, Cheryl Britland, Carol Ball, Donna Rodier, Dennis Jencks and Charles "Chuck" Jencks III. She is predeceased by her sister Rita Haskins.
A Celebration of her Life will take place at Riverpoint Advent Christian Church, 1107 Main Street, West Warwick, RI at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 26. Calling hours will be Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI.
