Eddie Lamont Lampman, 77, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022. He was born January 12, 1945 in Alvarado, TX to Lawrence Henry and Glenna Faye Jackson Lampman. He was employed in his early years as a butcher at the families grocery business, ran a milk route in Deleon, TX and later ended his career as a welder at Gearhart-Owen. Eddie loved the outdoors and had many hobbies. He flew pigeons, was an outstanding bowler, loved to bird hunt, and enjoyed fishing if they took the hook fast as he did not like to wait for them to bite! He loved the chicken fights, enjoyed feeding the cows. If it was outside and anything to do with nature, he was down for it. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Henry Lampman, his mother, Glenna Faye Jackson Lampman, and brother, Jim Everett Lampman.
One that enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger. To say he will be greatly missed is an understatement (some shoes you just cannot fill). Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23rd from 6PM-8PM at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home in Alvarado (Come share your memories with the family). Graveside will be Thursday March 24 at 11:00AM at Kopperl Cemetery in Kopperl, Texas.
