Jane was born on December 27, 1937, in Lurton, Arkansas to Louie Virl Rosamond and Goldie Elizabeth (Nichols). After the death of her mother in 1939, Jane and older brother Louie Carl were adopted and raised by their maternal grandparents William Henry and Nellie Nichols. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Louie (Maxine) and two uncles John Sherman (Burma) Nichols and William Roscoe (Vela) Nichols who she knew and loved as her older brothers.
In October 1960, she married Donald Jack Robinson of Bellevue, MO. They spent the next 23 years loving and raising their children together. After which, they separated, but stayed committed to being close friends and to maintain a loving environment for their growing family.
Jane lived a life doing what she loved, caring for children, caring for kitties, showing her love through food, and reading her bible. She spent many years working as a cook at Country Fixin's in Wentzville, MO, but loved most working in the Wentzville and Wright City School Districts where she was able to combine her love of cooking and her love of children. She also spent over four years as a live-in nanny for four of her grandchildren where she loved them, cared for them, and nurtured them with a love for Jesus. Beyond her love for children was her love for animals, especially her kitties. No stray ever walked past her door without her taking the opportunity to show it love and make sure it was cared for and fed. She also found time to read her bible and as her eyesight failed her, she turned to listening to Christian programming and spent much of her day in conversation with Jesus. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, love for her pets, and love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jane is survived by her beloved children Tammy and Mike Hagenhoff of Troy, MO and John and Korene Robinson of Independence, MO. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Megan Holland (Van Robbins), Louis Hagenhoff (Susanne Fuller), Aaron Hagenhoff (Taylor), Jared Robinson (Mallory), Ryan Robinson (Krystal), and Tanner Robinson. She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren Keira Holland, Cael Holland, Wyatt Robinson, Luke Robinson, Sadie Robinson, Everly Robinson, Cole Hagenhoff, and Cody Hagenhoff. In addition, she is survived by two of her cousins, that were always more like sisters, Loretta "Dempy" Ramsey (James) Lorraine "Tiny" Black (Carroll) as well as many other nephews, nieces, and cousins. Lastly, she is survived by her ex-husband and dear friend for over 60 years, Donald Jack Robinson (Janetta) of North Vernon, IN.
