Henry Paul Orton

went home to be with his Lord on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was surrounded by family and friends as he took his last breath.

Henry was born to H.C. (Henry Clay) Orton and Cleta Arline (Nicely) Orton on February 12, 1953, in Southern California. He entered the United States Army July 1975, where he traveled the world. He retired from Ft. Irwin, California in August of 1994.

As much as he enjoyed and cherished being a father, he found happiness and fulfillment in being a grandfather. He was very active in his faith; being a member of the Dayton Bible Chapel community for the last 20 years. He also enjoyed spending time with his fellow veterans at the Dayton chapter of the American Legion.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents H.C. and Cleta Arline Orton and sister Edna "Beth". He is survived by his wife Patricia L. Orton, daughters Patricia, Cassandra, Haley E, and Emily Arline; grandchildren Madison Amilia, Ryleigh, and Finn Michael; brother Edward D., and nieces and nephews Victor, Tricia, Kandace , Steven, Shawn, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
