Dorothy Faye "Dot" Alexander, 78, of Jayess, MS passed away March 29, 2022 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Alexander was born on July 15, 1943 in Pike County to the late Robert Carl and Catherine Morgan Alexander.
Ms. Alexander was a retired LPN for Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center where she worked for 34 years. She loved to crochet and going to the auction in Gloster where she made many friends. She was also a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.
Ms. Alexander was preceded in death by her parents; her son Robert Allen Alexander; sisters Brenda Reeves and Joan Brent.
She is survived by a sister Betty Coon of Summit, MS; a brother David Alexander of McComb; nieces and nephews Monika Cothern and husband Derwin of Summit; Dewayne Coon and wife Jo of Summit; Jeffery Coon and wife Misty of Magnolia; Cory Alexander of Baton Rouge; Deborah Moak and husband Joey of McComb; Michelle Brady and husband Dan of Jackson; Chad Reeves and wife Amy of Memphis; Patrick Brent of Germany; and numerous great nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday April 2, 2022 at the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church at Carters Creek cemetery under the direction of Hartman Jones Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Derwin Cothern, Nick Cothern, Alex Coon, Jake Phelps, Bryce Lester and Cory Alexander.
