STOCKTON, JUNE M.
WYOMING-June M. Stockton, 71, of Wyoming entered God's kingdom on September 12, 2023 at Kent General Hospital. Born in Farmington, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Helen (White) and George Joudrey.
June was a 1969 graduate of Wicomico High School in Salisbury, MD. She was a stenographer for the U.S. Army from 1981 until 1987, where she earned numerous awards and ribbons. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Dover. She was also a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge, the Harrington American Legion, and the Delaware Veterans Association of Dover.
With her partner Freddie Jolly, they enjoyed following and entering car shows, where they earned numerous awards for their show cars and made lifelong friends. They also enjoyed vacationing in Madeira Beach, Florida every year.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Stockton and later her longtime partner Frederick Jolly. She is survived by her step-daughter Michelle Isaacs of Indiana; her step son Dee "Brian" Stockton of Williamsburg, VA; her grandson James Hare; her granddaughter Jackie Hare; her great grandchildren Georgia and Noble Hare, all of Indiana; and her sister in law Joan Moore of Norfolk, VA. June is also survived by a special group of friends, her Thirsty Thursday Group. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, two dogs, two cats and a goat.
