Obituary - Roxbury - Mrs. Edna May Brady, 79, of Roxbury, died Thursday in Binghamton after a short illness. She had been in poor health for the past year. Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Sunday at the Jay Gould Memorial Reform Church with the Rev. John Fryling, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Roxbury Cemetery. Mrs. Brady was born July 17, 1879 in Andes, the daughter of John and Sarah (Dodds) Conner. She married Charles P. Brady in Delhi on June 21, 1904. Their early married life was spent in Delhi where he operated a meat market. On May 1, 1920 they moved to Roxbury. Mr. Brady died December 20, 1951. They were the parents of 14 children. Surviving are six sons, Lynn of Elmira; Harlan of Toledo, Ohio; Howard of Patterson, N.J.; Richard of Newburg, George of Boise, Idaho; Theodore at home; five daughters, Mrs. Ralph Yanson, Grand Gorge; Mrs. Marion Townsend, Roxbury; Mrs. Buell Tinklepaugh, Chenango Bridge; Miss Lillian Brady, Albany and Mrs. Samuel Blakeslee, Grand Gorge; 19 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George B. Judge, New York City. She was a member of the Gould Memorial Reform Church and was a charter member of the local American Legion Auxiliary. Friends may call at her home at their convenience.
