Wayne O. Allen, 84, is at peace with his Savior after passing away at home on December 7, 2020. Born April 5, 1936 in Kalamazoo to Otto and Edna, Wayne married his sweetheart Dorothy Kuiper on May 18, 1956. Together they owned and operated Allen's Millwood Service Center for 33 years. A dedicated member of Southridge Church, Wayne impressed all with his passion for people, skill in woodworking, and love of storytelling.

He is survived: by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy; sons: Scott (Patty) Allen, Douglas (Debra) Allen, and Daniel (Penny) Allen; grandchildren: Krista (Troy) Errington, Jeff (Megan) Allen, Sarah Schmitz, Ashley (Kate) Versage, Michelle (James) Loughmiller, Stacy (Aaron) French and Troy Allen; 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters Mary Lou Webb and Jean (Gordon) Kern. Preceded in death by sister Janet Peterman, brother-in-law Phil Webb, and grandsons Jordan and Eric Allen.

Private services are being held due to Covid; a public Memorial Service will be held later. Donations may be made to the Southridge Church in remembrance of Wayne's cherished words of encouragement and humble spirit of giving.
