Helen was born in Onlaska, Texas, to the late Henry Dirk Iglehart and Martha Henderson Iglehart. She was a faithful member of the Congress Street Church of God in Christ in Waco until she relocated to Gainesville, Fla., to reside with her granddaughter, Dr. Hellena Scott-Oakfor.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Johnnie Laurice "Reecy" Mosley Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memories, granddaughter, Dr. Hellena Renee Scott-Oakfor and her husband, Fidelis I., of Gainesville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Ebony, Chinyere, Lauren and Emeka Oakfor, of Gainesville, Fla.; sister, Martha Ann Mason, of San Antonio; her "adopted sister," Mrs. Bernice Wells; son-in-law, Warren Scott, of Wilmington, Del.; and a host of nieces and nephews including her beloved, Joshualyn Lovejoy, of Perry, Ga.; and many more loving relatives and friends.
